All suites are well appointed and give you the feel of a tropical plantation. All feature luxurious bedding, mountains of pillows, thick fluffy towels, comfy cotton robes, clock radio, stationery, toiletries, hair dryers, ironing boards, luggage racks, clothes drying racks and hampers.

Honu Kai has free WiFi with high speed internet access and all suites have a flat screen TV, free cable service and Blu-Ray.

To help conserve our precious resources on Big Island and to remain eco-friendly, we do daily room re-freshens with a change of linens after 3 nights available by request.

Our rock walled grounds are over an acre in size, alternately shaded and sunny, with a spacious open front lawn. The mature landscaping includes coconut palms, coffee, mango, papaya, macadamia nut, avocado, banana and other fruit trees. Sample the fresh fruits at any time in season. No sprayed pesticides are used at Honu Kai.
